If you've gone to the Syfy or Youtube for the past months, you've seen Cowboys Vs. Aliens being advertised. So I ask you, members of Bibby Team, who's going to win? Cowboys or Aliens? I'm betting Cowboys this time around.

Gravity Duck Review
Posted on: Jul 12th, 2011 @ 4:00 pm

And so starts the review of Gravity Duck, an app available for those gifted to have Google Chrome installed into their computer. The game is free, but as it does take up KB and MB, is it worth a download? Google users obviously think so, with the 4/5 star rarting this game currently holds. However, do I share the same opinion? Either read the review or skip down to the FINAL WORDS section.
GRAPHICS 3/5- This is what usually catches people's attention first, especially when only supplied a screenshot. The game uses sprites, those things that 45 year-olds claim hurt the younger generation' eyes. These sprites in particular sprites have quite a nice look to them, and aren't incredibly small, 16x16 or something. I would have preffered something larger, maybe 32x32. Resized sprites are getting a little old. At least they're not resized 4 times their original size, that's just stupid.
STORY 2/5- The next thing that most people are introduced to is a story, usually before they even have time to walk around and do something. An Easter Island head sends you out on a mission to gain golden eggs for whatever reason, granting you the power to control gravity. Not extremely original, but at least it's a story.
GAMEPLAY 3/5- You don't jump, you don't fly, you just control gravity. Who knows why he doesn't just fly to the egg? Whatever, our feathered friend has decided to just control gravity and use it as much as possible while he can. As you only control your own(?) gravity, the game seems a bit awkward. There are these floating glowing thing that rotate you 90 degrees, also rotating your gravitational pull. Get to the egg, and you win. there are no lives, so you just restart the level when you die.
SOUND/MUSIC 2/5- 8-bit Retro music seems to be what most indie games are using nowadays. As this is the only music/sound you hear, I turned it off and started listening to Led Zeppelin. Seriously, why is everyone using that horrible retro stuff nowadays when they have a full orchestra on their computer to choose from?
FINAL WORDS 3/5- And so ends the tail of Gravity Duck. No really, where's his tail? Oh well, it's entertaining enough and was about what I expected. With 40 levels in total, this game'll keep you busy for a few days. It's better than a lot of games out there for free, but I'll still take Fancy Pants over this.

There may be a few typos in teh review, but it's still understandable. Bye.

How'd your family make their way to America?
Posted on: Jul 4th, 2011 @ 12:39 pm
How'd your family make their way to America? Did they fight for freedom, come over from somewhere else because of the economy? Did they frequently vacation and finally decided to move? If you don't live in America, have you ever and what was your reason to move?
-My mother's mother came from Germany. They left because Nazis stole their potatoes, and said that they'd be back next time they grew again. Yep, you hear right, potato farmers. My grandmother married an Irish guy and had my mom.
-My father's father came from Italy, I dunno why. My great-grandfather only spoke Italian, as I'm told. My grandfather married a Native American Japanese woman and had my dad.
Then they had Larnuu and me, we lived all over the USA, then they got tired and bought a farm. No I'm stuck here until I get my ostriche delivered.

Do you read any form of comic?
Posted on: Jun 16th, 2011 @ 6:40 pm
I mainly read comics made durring the bronze age to modern age of comic books. I also have a bunch of Underground Comix. I read manga every now and then, but not usually. If I do, I'm usually reading independent manga, since I'm tired of the "I see ghosts" and "My Boyfriend is a Monster" stories. For me, American comics are at the top of the list, specifically Frank Miller.
I dunno if you guys read any comics/manga, but it'd be interesting to know if you did and what your favorite artist/writer is.

Discuss this sub-species of omnivorous koala. They have become more territorial recently, due to humans invading their natural habitat. This might be okay in General Discussion, but it's not a casual conversation, and isn't really news-related... but it's your call in the end, Bibby.
