This is in preparation for custom painting a Gameboy Color with a refractive paint.

Truthfully, I like how this came out, even if the gold paint itself looks like crap.
And yes, the buttons all work fine.

Raised the stakes on a spray paint practice run, and decided to hit a Sega Genesis controller.

Looks like the end result of a good idea to me! Other than a few pre-existing dings, this looks like it came straight out of the factory.
Course clear! You got a card.

Glad to hear that you guys like it.
I have a good while to practice before everything I need for the Gameboy Color arrives, So, hopefully that works out. Also: What made this a "Bad Idea", was the level of doubt that I had that I would actually do well. I highly suspected that I would completely botch this, as I did with some of my previous practice attempts on bottle caps, and candy tins. Of course, bad idea's don't always end badly, now do they? ![]() |
