The end result of a bad idea.

Raised the stakes on a spray paint practice run, and decided to hit a Sega Genesis controller.
This is in preparation for custom painting a Gameboy Color with a refractive paint.




Truthfully, I like how this came out, even if the gold paint itself looks like crap.

And yes, the buttons all work fine.

Looks like the end result of a good idea to me! Other than a few pre-existing dings, this looks like it came straight out of the factory.

Glad to hear that you guys like it.
I have a good while to practice before everything I need for the Gameboy Color arrives, So, hopefully that works out.

Also:
What made this a "Bad Idea", was the level of doubt that I had that I would actually do well.
I highly suspected that I would completely botch this, as I did with some of my previous practice attempts on bottle caps, and candy tins.

Of course, bad idea's don't always end badly, now do they? ;)
