"Jessica" from the Allman Brothers Band. Even many years after its original release, it seemed to get played a LOT where I live. (It's a good song from a Jax band.)

Read it here
An interesting blog post that WTL/Mario recently shared.
I found it to be a worthwhile read - it does a good job of articulating why expert guidance is valuable, and also how experts sometimes fall short in providing guidance to beginners.
I might quote this article at some random point in the future.

The 2007 Super Bowl was fun... especially if you're a Colts fan! It probably had the coolest halftime show of any Super Bowl.
And yeah, I think all our old Super Bowl tapes are on DVD now. We got a VCR/DVD recorder thingy a couple of decades ago, and we used it to digitize a lot of old VHS tapes.
I highly recommend digitizing any VHS tapes that are special or hard to replace - VHS tapes don't necessarily last for all time. There's some businesses that provide this service in my area, though in my town you can even do that at our main library.

Someone sure spent a lot of time and headache trying to patch up a broken bootleg Famicom!
But yeah, that was a fun video. It's cool to see him take everything apart and then fix it all up. I also learned a bit more about how old game systems transmit video signals.
I am glad that the Good Boy is back to being a very good boy again.

We used to videotape every year's Super Bowl, and I remember that commercial was on one of those tapes. I'm pretty sure it was near the beginning of the oldest Big Game we have on tape. (I was only very slightly older than the baby back then.)

From what I can tell, home soda machines don't give you a great ROI unless you drink a lot of it.
Though if you get one, I'm sure that Nite, the SodaStream Wizard, could give you some pointers.

No, Pictures.BAS isn't supposed to crash after picking an option.
I'm not sure which version of QBASIC I used, but I know it was the one that came with DOS 5.

A Thousand Summers by John Tesh:
While I was on vacation at March, I found a couple of John Tesh's Tour de France CDs at a library bookstore. It's been fun listening to them.
You've probably heard of this guy before. A lot of people know him as the composer of the classic NBA on NBC theme song. Others might think of him as the Entertainment Tonight host or other things! However, early in his career, he was a commentator for Tour de France coverage, and he actually composed the music for the broadcasts. I don't know of any other sports commentators who composed music, so that's pretty awesome. I don't think I'd ever fully appreciated this guy's versatility.
@fireball3k Yeah, a lot of those Underworld songs give me some serious N64 racing game vibes!

Ha, no worries at all - it's fun that this topic is getting some love for its tenth birthday!
It's good to know that these old programs are working for you - the only place I've ever tested them was on that Windows 98 PC where I copied over a DOS 5 version of QBASIC, which is an admittedly weird setup.
