just something i crammed together in about a minute.
1 pair of headphones (busted headband)
1 pair noise blocking earmuffs.

nothing special here, just looks like noise blocking earmuffs with a wire attached, yes?

same thing here, nothing special, turns out that foam pad comes right out,

one speaker, fit right in place, and wont move around when the pad is back in place.
simple as heck.

Noise blockers that are also noise makers? Preposterous! But really that is kind of neat, even if it is rather simple.

That's really cool. I'd never thought to refurbish noise-blocking earmuffs in such a way.
Course clear! You got a card.

so, small bump for anyone who wishes to try this themselves.
here are the parts i actually used.
(colors aside)

3m: Model 1000 noise blocking earmuffs:

Studio monitor headphones:

i believe just about anything should be able to work for this.
the studio monitor headphones are just what i had on hand, after the headband snapped.

The earpads on the earmuff are just stuck down with an adhesive, and can be gently pulled up,
the foam pad in the middle of the earmuffs cab be easily removed by compressing it and pulling it out.

I had to break some parts off the speaker bezel to make it fit properly inside the earmuffs,
nothing precise, as long as the speaker can be placed in the middle of the earmuffs.

you simply pull up the ear pad and run the speaker under it,
then stick the pad down as firmly as possible,

remove the foam insert, place the speaker in the middle as best you can, then reinsert the foam insert.
glue if needed. (I didn't need glue, though i recommend 24HR silicone or Hot glue.)

Thats it, your done!
Try em on, crank up the tunes, just be careful you don't damage your eardrums with these things.
