I really enjoyed seeing the latest batch of Fujiko's photos. Some random thoughts and thinkings and ponderings:
  • Only in video games do people ask "Are you sure?" before serving you food.
  • $6.29 for a 12-pack of Cokes. Yikes.
  • Twilight. In Chinese. Yikes again.
  • Walkability in a city is a fabulous thing. Hooray city planning.
  • Around here, Red Robin ("YUM!") puts on lots of quirky commercials, except I know of no locations in the vicinity.
  • CalorieMate Balanced Food Block is an utterly unappealing name for a food product.
  • I'd never considered what Olympics torches did once they retired. I always assumed they took up bowling or shuffleboard, or went to Miami Beach or Cancun and cruised the nightclubs.
  • Hanjin shipping cartons, unreliable postal service, beer trucks, and streets with British spellings of the word "centre." Those things make a Jacksonville-ite feel right at home.

Honestly, we're very similar countries. Apart from a few things here and there, everything that you can access in the states, you can access here in Canada as well.

It looks like you had a very good time! I have spent a ton of time on trips to Vancouver, so I recognized most of the places that you were at.

1LT Guo: What did you expect?

All three cities, Vancouver, Burnaby, and Richmond have white people as a minority. Our policy of multiculturalism has served us well, I believe.

I did make a guide about the cities in my area too for a reason. To combat ignorance! I hope you will be more interested in Canada!

Nite Shadow: Yeah, it was fun! Very tiring, though.

Fez: Ah, really! Do you live close by?
