I imagine the software is one that randomizes the options and the person creating this particular test didn't realize that was the case lol

I love poorly-written test questions... except for those where the right answer is counted as wrong.

This sort of question reminds me of the Computer Applications & Information Systems CLEP I took earlier this year, although I think your test is higher-level than that was.
Course clear! You got a card.

Meh. Not a fan of those, because either the writers were lazy and forgot to make edits for a better-formulated question, and it can be very confusing to know which is the right answer and can count with what I so correctly know, wrong.
If you want to see a movie of Richard Figures (And I sure as hell want to see it.) Back This Project Up! -> https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/Richardfigures/Richard-figures-the-movie

The situation was pretty much this. Our instructor had a bank of questions given to him by the writers of the book we were assigned for the course.

so, selecting B would mean that the answer is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, which is A and B, *shot*
