Here's a good review of it: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2012830/windows-8-the-official-review.html

What are your thoughts on Microsoft's latest operating system? I'm not too keen on this new tablet-centric interface, although the young'uns who grew up on iPhones and iPads are probably going to like this departure from the old Start Menu/Program Manager era more than I do. Either way, my Windows XP machine is still up and running, so I see no reason to rush to be the first in the fray of "early adopters."
Course clear! You got a card.

I tried the rtms and I like many new interfaces. But I want the start button back that opens up the dashboard. Plus the other con is that multitasking is like dating with sybil.

For some reason, Windows 8's interface makes me feel like hurling trees across Space and into the moon. My current Windows 7 does miracles for me (perfect frame-rates on just about any 2D game- even MKF :O), so I won't be upgrading any time soon :P
The demo for Super Mario Bros: Odyssey can be found here

And on fusion fangaming and mfgg =P

Just got a copy of Windows 8 for $14.99! Tried it, like it except turning off is a little harder. So I used ViStart. Yay!

got a chance to install it, it's alright. I think I like it more than 7, but it's not that significant of an upgrade to matter if you have 7 already. Though if you have Vista or XP I think there's no better time to upgrade than now...
