Hey, paisanos! In this topic, I'll be regularly posting (slightly edited) entries of my Dream Log! Here you get to see all of the insane things that fly through my subconscious!

At any rate, a little backstory: I've always been really interested and fascinated by dreams, so I decided to catalogue them all into a book that is, as of today, filled with over 30 entries, so there's plenty of material. So what do I mean by "regularly"? Well, I guess it would mean whenever I have the steam to do it, basically.

So without further delay, enjoy! Also, feel free to comment on each entry. Well, obviously.

Note: This entry was lazily copypasted from that other dream topic

So it started out at a party where I was watching a really strange adaption (if you could even call it that) of The Three Musketeers that starred the Jonas Brothers as the titular characters. I remember that it had a sort of a bolivian army ending: at the climax of the film, they're buying cereal at a supermarket, but find out that apparently someone has planted a bomb in said supermarket, so they grab their Lucky Charms and set out for the exit at top speed - the movie ends before they can reach the exit.
As if that weren't random enough, the dream cuts to a strange sequel called "Ali Baba", evidently released many years later. The movie is a stop motion film which, as it says in the opening credits, was written and animated by Elijah Wood. It explains that in between the first and second films, the supermarket was... actually a library, I guess, and when it exploded, the Three Jonasteers or whatever took all of the books that had been scattered everywhere and stacked all of them into a huge, huge pile (it actually looked really amazing, I should make a painting of it sometime or something) that reached way up, like, you couldn't even see the top of it. It just disappeared into the clouds. So the Musketeers climb this colossal pile all the way up to a magical city in the sky called Ali Baba. It's a rather surreal, fantastical place, which is being ruled by an evil king and whatnot. The Three Musketeers get into a fight with some of the king's minions or something, and after what admittedly was a really cool action scene, in all of the commotion one of the Musketeers (let's just say it was Nick Jonas) and Clint Eastwood for some reason (I've given up on trying to attribute this film to any form of logic by any stretch of the imagination at this point) fall off the edge of the city and land back in the parking lot where the huge bookstack is.
It's a rather unstable bookstack, too - books keep falling from the sky down into the parking lot, and if I remember correctly there was even one part where a giant bucket of black paint fell down and nearly drowned our heroes. Clint firmly decides that Nick will need some training before he goes back up into Ali Baba to rescue his friends, so they have a generic Rocky training montage. But before Eastwood and Nick can celebrate, a crotchety old British policeman comes to inspect where Clint Eastwood had parked his car. After talking it over with him, Clint just barely avoids a parking ticket. And that's all of the story that I was given.
Yeah, nice job, Elijah Wood. You're definitetly on your way to an Academy Award. So that's it for today kids, I hope you enjoyed that. Also, if you want me to start posting more of my dreams, there's plenty more where this came from. As a matter of fact, this is actually Dream Log Entry #34, so I have enough material to last you hours of reading! Tell me what you thought in the comments!

I also dug this up from an old post in the Minus World! Feel free to talk about either this one or the one above, though.

I dreamt about a hypothetical Pikmin 3 game, and it had a more complex plot than the other two games. For starters, an actual conscious villain character, who had kidnapped Olimar's wife. There were also loads and loads of playable characters, I don't remember exactly who, but I know there was Olimar and Louie, and even Spongebob Squarepants at one point. Other characters I deduce were President Soucho, Bulbmin, and others. I think even a life-size cat was a playable character. So, the plot. The part I remember is when they approach the villain's base. He sends some vicious creatures after Louie, and Louie books it in the other direction those creatures on his tail. The next level focuses on trying to find Louie by going down the path he booked it down. At the end of the level, we find Louie all beat up, unconscious, and with a part of his helmet missing! We rush to find where he dropped it before he regains consciousness and starts breathing the toxic oxygen. (Umm... uh... people from Hocotate don't need to breathe when they're unconscious. Yeah.) We find out that the villain has it...er...somehow... So Spongebob lets Louie borrow his helmet (Yeah, I wasn't kidding when I said he was a playable character) While he has a method of chewing gum for air. Or, well, dissolved oxygen, in his case, being a sea creature and all. Anyway, my favorite part is when every character huddles up at the entrance to the villain's base. And it is here that Olimar finds out that the villain has also kidnapped his step-mom, and that his wife is pregnant with the villain's child. Yes, you heard me. Olimar's wife got raped. In a Nintendo game. Don't even ask. At any rate, all of the playable characters come up with a spy movie-like game plan to seige the villain's base. And, other than a segment where London Tipton buys salty mini fruit pies at a convenience store, that was all of the plot I was given. But, you know what I just realized? During the whole dream I never saw one Pikmin. There was one weird half-awake half-asleep part at the end that said Olimar could now do melee attacks, so maybe the gameplay centered around that.

"The Three Jonasteers" needs to be made into a movie, honestly. XD

The funniest part is that I had this dream ages before a Pikmin 3 was even announced!

Here we have a nice quickie for tonight's entry because I kind of have to start on my homework soon!

I dreamt of a television show based on Toy Story. Although this kind of seems chronologically impossible, the show looked like it was made somewhere in the 1970s, due to the fact that the video quality was a bit questionable, and the show utilized marionet puppetry as opposed to CGI. In the particular episode I was shown, Ham comes across an old pile of Woody and Buzz's keepsafes by accident. Out of curiosity, Ham sorts through this pile, and comes across a Buzz Lightyear toy. This is a strange one - it's made of tin rather than plastic, it's smaller, and it has sort of a more realistic face. At first, Ham discards this as a piece of junk, that is, until he accidentally steps on its catch phrase button. "I am the very first Buzz Lightyear toy in the world!!" It crows in a worbly voice. Ham comes to the conclusion that this toy is a very valuable antique, and envisioning a life of fame and fortune, he hurries to sell the toy to a nearby toy museum, and convinces the others (minus Buzz and Woody) to come along with him, convincing them that this is an errand Buzz and Woody want done. And... then it ended abruptly.

Hooooo BOY! Tonight's entry is pretty long! Well, actually, since it was basically sort of a three-part "package dream" so to speak (basically a dream that switched through three different parts with completely different subject matter), I'm going to be releasing each part seperately in sort of a trilogy fashion, just to, well, save me from running out of steam. Enjoy, folks!

DREAMER TRILOGY 1
PART I

First, I dreamt of an interesting lengthly game adventure starring Mario & Luigi. The format of the dream kept switching the gameplay style of the game in question - from a traditional Hello-SMB3-clone-style (no, I didn't add this in later- I had actually physically written this into the journal!) 2D platformer; to a sort of pseudo-3D isometric beat-em-up style platformer, to a Super Mario Galaxy-style 3D platformer. One strange part of the Super Mario Galaxy segment was that there were giant golden Bowsers walking around that would turn into giant coins when you walked into them, so Mario and I (I don't remember why I wrote "Mario and I" in the journal - I suppose I was playing as Luigi) were hopping over gates and collecting them. I also remember that during the Hello segment, Luigi was in an underground area bashing blocks, and the sound effect usage was really odd- like the jump sound being used when you collected a coin, and so forth. Don't miss part II of the trilogy, coming tomorrow night! This is GG7, signing off!

Were the Golden Bowsers like the ones you see in Bowser's Castle in Super Mario World, or were they totally different?

They were like, actual giant Bowsers. They looked exactly like the actual Bowser and they were walking around and everything except they were gold for some reason. It was really weird...
