During my vacation last week, I've visited the 'American cemetary for WWII soldiers', in the Netherlands. A very interesting experience, to say the least. Over 8.000 graves of brave WWII soldiers, spread out over a large field with flowers, American flags and lots of other things to honor the death soldiers. Anyhow, maybe our loyal forum-owner's family has joined the army back then? I found this on the wall wich listed the names of the dead soldiers:

'Tis nice to remember those folks who gave everything to give us a Hitler-free world. I've always found historical topics interesting, too.

Although, for the record, it's been noted on the first phpBB MFGG that my surname might really be a pen name conceived quite a long time ago...
