For those who dont already know, I recently got a refurbished PSP that had all sorts of things wrong with it,
I wont bore you with the details and endless rants on most of it,

current problem however, is that the LCD burned out, ill be replacing this tomorrow,
I managed to score one for the PSP model 2000 with the backlight kit preinstalled for about $5.00 on E-bay

having dismantled this PSP on a large number of occasions and put it back together, im confident that i can do this swap quite easily.

heres hoping eh? :D

just dismantled this thing, and did a coupple practice runs on the screen, I am confident that this will not be a problem at all at this point

...in other news, the screen has decided to kick on for 1 final hurrah,
the picture looks like s***, but i can still navigate and play the PSP....odd.....

I'm quite confident you can do it! It must be fun to be able to fix broken stuff like that...
Course clear! You got a card.

received, and fixed!

remaining blue lines through the screen (though much fewer) im just gonna say are from the PSPs GPU.

screen is much brighter, and obviously brand new

Never did figure out what the guitar pick included was for...
i think they meant it to be a pry tool.
