Do you view public speaking as a blissful experience?
Or do you find medieval justice preferable to the prospect of talking in front of a group?

I spent the early part of this afternoon giving my first speech for a summer course I'm taking. It went better than I expected, in part because of a certain forum moderator's topic prompting me to work on making my voice sound less horrible!
So... what's your opinions on public speaking? Do you view public speaking as a blissful experience? Or do you find medieval justice preferable to the prospect of talking in front of a group?
