Congratulations. You have successfully made the longest topic title in BT Forums history.

Most of my levels are fairly linear, and when I add a branching path it's usually a bonus room attached to the main level with a pipe. When making Mario fangames, I'm partial to forest and ghost levels, and it seems I don't make desert areas as often as most people.
Course clear! You got a card.

Seems like we have somthing in common. I too, make linear levels because hacking SMB3 was my first forary into making quality levels. If I do add a branching path, its a bonus room or a secret exit room. For the differences and my origins of my levels, I am changing up my levels to become not so linear. Initially, my first levels were full of Bullet Bill spam as they were my favorite enemies and I like its choreography. I then learned much later that there are oher good levels that doesn't need the Bills to make it challenging. Anikiti's levels were my inspiration back then, but now, gimmicks are. Currently, I am trying to make gameplay my asset since I was too big on those in the past as I focused more oj difficulty and gimmick back then. My favorite biome is those SMB3 Blockland levels with those multi-colored blocks. I don't know why they are calld Plains or Grassland levels as they aren't true grassland levels, but I call Blockland my favorite because it was my first level biome I've ever experimented when hacking SMB3.
