That level looks interesting, but it looks pretty intense for a Level 2 - especially the Ace Coins.

Now then, Level 3 Preview: http://postimg.org/image/tdcf6gjwt/

Currently making another World 1 Map for Mysterious Islandz. I have intentions of making this one more expansive.

I'm liking what you're doing with the world map. I like the enhanced SMW-ish style.

I was not lying when I said that im divorcing myself from using SMB3 graphics in my game. I had Skewer drew them for me. Though he did say that he was restricted to keep them anti-aliased, which isn't the best he can do. On another note, did anyone played the NCFC 2015 version? --- Edited by: TDW, Sep 11th, 2015 @ 8:19 pm

It's nice to see the game going in the direction of more original graphics. In particular, replacing the SMB3 Mario would make the game look a lot more distinctive.

I played the MI demo at NCFC. I couldn't make it past the second level. Maybe I could've finished it if I had more time and patience - although I'm not so sure about that.

Well, I have starting doing Small Mario a week ago but I am going to have someone else finish it for me since im a bit busy. Also what can I do to improve the second level since I am pretty sure its easier than the last one I made years ago?

I know you want Mysterious Islandz to be a difficult game, but Level 2 is too difficult for a level this early in the game - especially if you intend to make MI as long as you've planned. Level 1 is a reasonable difficulty for a hard game, but the difficulty curve takes quite a drastic spike upwards in Level 2. As I recall, having to toss around Ice Blocks is especially annoying.

I was going to replay Levels 1 and 2 and give you more detailed feedback, but the current version posted on the NCFC booth doesn't run on my computer. Right after the game loads, I receive an error about defining an external function. I didn't have this problem with the version I played on August 25.
