A little old, but it's this month's news at least.

The history and legend of the turtle god is pretty interesting, and sounds like it could be incorporated into a nice piece of fictitious literature (not saying the original story isn't true). More information on this rare species of turtle and the legend can be found on Wikipedia. I hope the turtle lives.

Kind of interesting anyway. Sounds like a character in a video game RPG.
