These days, I find I have little patience for long forum/blog posts (unless they're particularly interesting and well-written) and long-winded debates. It also seems I hardly ever write posts exceeding a paragraph in length any more. Curiously, I can tolerate - or even embrace - such verbosity in newspapers, magazines, and even e-mails, so maybe this problem doesn't merely stem from my recent reading of The Elements of Style, the conciseness bible.
So... do you find wordy posts and lengthy debates boring or annoying, or do you like making and reading long posts?

I try to avoid writing long paragraphs at some places where I feel like I'd be ridiculed for my opinions, but nowadays I spend me of my time at friendlier forums (like Bibby Team) so I try not to worry about it.
When I do visit those places, I try to make my posts short (or avoid posting altogether) but sometimes I can't contain myself. |

I like to read long posts, but I'm not sure I like making them as I'm pretty sure I'm boring.
If I'm writing a review or something, it's a different story. |
