Quick sprite of Kanichi, the main character of a novel from the Meiji period that I'm reading called The Gold Demon. His appearance is based off the bronze statue of him, not the original illustrations.

I did the sprite quickly and realised AFTER posting on Tumblr that I didn't AA the outsides at all, so I rushed to do some, and forgot his cape...

Anyways, if I say I will do something tomorrow, that means I'll do it in maybe a week.

Great textures on Date and Asai. I once heard a rumor that Fujiko had a fear of anything resembling painting! If that game has a few lines as good as "You randomly chucked a dead horse at me," it's going to be a winner.

Thank you very much! Of course, I feel I'm not very good at painting, but since I'm using watercolour pencils, and you only need a bit of water and have a lot more control over where the colour goes, it's easier.
