The Demo was good, and I can't wait to see the full version.

I opened GM to work on Purple Coin 2. Made progress on JFF2 instead. Oops?
Is 480x270 a good screen size? Seems to scale well enough with 1920x1080 displays, though 1600x900 and whatever weird laptop resolutions you've probably encountered will probably block-ify it up pretty bad in full screen. Figured I'd just run with something based on the standard, but if anyone has any suggestions for something better now'd be the best time to make it all known and stuff. I scrapped 640x360 because it was just a bit too big. Made too little sense and all that for the fact that I'm just running standard SMW sprites. Had this game in a bad state when I worked on it last. Managed to salvage it after fixing some serious technical oversights. Me not working on this game for about a year to work on a stupid other project has really saved this, as weird as that sounds. Learned a lot doing that, I did. |

That sounds like what I've been trying to do with Career Fantasy lately. In my case, the 640x360 resolution makes characters look awfully small, while 480x270 might be too small for me to display all the text I need on the menus. Both scale reasonably well on my laptop, though.
Regardless of the resolution you end up choosing, it's nice to see an update on this. Sometimes taking a break to work on another project is just what you need to solve lingering glitches and other issues.
Course clear! You got a card.
