I finished a couple of new levels over the past couple of days. One of these levels might or might not involve chicken.

Of the 30 rooms in the current game, 16 of them are complete. I can't necessarily say that I'm at the halfway point, but progress is definitely happening.

Do not permit me to continue procrastinating on this.

Progress is progress and progress be progressing!

In all seriousness though, I'm glad to see that this is still happening! :)

I've been making significant progress on Cheerwine Deluxe 3 over the past few weeks. For the first time ever, I finally have a timetable for finishing this thing! I plan to complete development within two months, and once that's done, I'll allow approximately three weeks for testing and bug-squishing. I want to get the hard work done before I start grad school this fall, and I'd like to have a full release ready for NCFC 2016.

There are only nine rooms left to complete, along with the main menu and an offbeat sidequest thingy. I may also need to add a few more mini-cutscenes to tie the story together. The moral of the story is that you're going to see CD3 in all its glory, barring unforeseen calamity. And even if something calamitous happens, the only loss will be a hidden Stop 'n Swop level or two.

CD3 continues to progress. I finished a bunch of new levels in early July, and today I finished up the system for loading saved games.

If the aforementioned unforeseen calamity were to happen, I could release what I have right now, and the plot would basically make sense. I still hope to add some more stuff, though:

Donate as many Tusk Bucks as possible to my nonexistent Kickstarter so these extras will happen.

We're less than five days away from the final release! The final* version will be released on August 28 because August 28 is a nice day (and because it's the day before I start grad school and I'm about to get a lot busier). In the meantime, I'm busy squashing a few last-minute bugs that have reared their ugly heads.

* A future update might add more DLC levels if you ask me really, really nicely. You may need to include brownies along with the nice asking.

Cheerwine Deluxe 3 is finally complete! I'm locking this development topic so I can make a new topic for... Version 1.0! Have fun.

(And yes, it did take slightly more than five days to release Version 1.0, but it'll be worth it, because it meant that we got to implement online high scores.)
