I now see clashing graphics at every turn, and I notice artistic flaws even on the covers of little-kid books, despite the fact that I'm still not a very good artist at all. I probably listen to music a little more closely than I used to as well. Has making games or art changed the way you look at everyday things in real life?
Course clear! You got a card.

For me, it's certainly affected the way I look at other games, but not stuff in the real world.

Sometimes if I'm really tired I imagine GML functions when I'm in the shower.

I used to see the world in pixels, back when I was into spriting.
As for game development, I think it's helped me immensely as far as understanding physics. And also, somewhat related, I woke up the other morning remembering using the bash terminal on Linux, and now I'm starting to miss using it :/ |
