Who else here finds banner ads with flashy animations (or worse yet, video and SOUND) to be fabulously annoying? I sure do, and that's the main reason I use AdBlock.

They are annoying, distracting, CPU-intensive in the case of Flash/video ads, and even dangerous to certain people in the case of flashy ads. AdBlock is my bestest friend. --- Edited by: Miles, Aug 1st, 2011 @ 9:25 am |

Yep, although the main reason I use Adblock is so I can block single images.

Flash ads are just... useless for the most part. This is one of the reasons I'm glad HTML5 is replacing Flash.
