A few images.

The real-life Tour de France can be interesting, but is there any way such a game could not be fantastically boring?

Looks like they're running out of ideas.

It looks kinda interesting. Probably because I haven't had a bike to ride in like six years though.

Idk maybe they can take some ideas from mario kart, that'd make for an interesting sports game

Bike guy 1: "Darn it! We're on the 166th place!"
Bike guy 2: "Don't worry, I've been saving a nice blue spiked shell for when something like this would happen!"

Right...

Anyway. This must be the most creative game idea ever [/sarcasm]

But Banana Peels sure would spice up the sprint finishes, and Red Koopa Shells would make those 70 MPH mountain descents a bit more exciting.

Most cycling games (of which there have been very, very few) have been more of a team management simulation, though I haven't been able to find a lot of information on this particular game.

Uno: That wasn't the nicest thing to say in the world.

Dos: He might have meant the turbo boosts and speed ramps that are all over the entire game, or maybe the way the characters taunt each other. Assuming right off the top that he meant items is quite foolish of you, young lad.

Tres: A blue shell wouldn't help someone in 166th place, seeing as it would just attack 1st place. A red shell would be more effective in that situation.

What country usually wins bike races by the way?

If you're in 166th place in a race, I'd probably prefer a Mushroom, or better yet, a Lightning Bolt.

The last 12 Tour de France winners have all been Spanish or American, but the majority of riders are from various Western European nations.
