Oh, and the font on the forums there is absolutely terrible with cleartype / font smoothing on. Just saying.

As far as the font thing goes, Windows default font rendering is pretty terrible in general. If you're interested in trying something else there's this. If you have a screenshot of how it looks for you though, that'd be helpful. Obviously we want the site to look as good as possible for as many people as possible so changes will be made as needed.

For the record, the forum's font looks nice for me, but I'm running Firefox 5 in Windows XP.

The all-over-the-place transparency in the letters makes it take a bit more effort to read it. Maybe it's just me, though.

Yeah Cleartype is pretty bad. As far as I know they actually made it worse in Vista and 7 and the worst part is I have no idea how to turn it off in either of those. I highly recommend doing that if possible. Once again, there's also this which provides font rendering similar to how OS X and Linux does, and you'll end up with something like this: 1 2

Might as well bump this now that NCFC is going, and since four of us have games there. Psycho Waluigi is pretty amazing, even though I'm only in World 2 because I'm trying to savor it slowly rather than beating it in a day.
