You know, with cameras that require the old-fashioned stuff that comes in a yellow box, known as film? I just realized it's literally been years since I took a non-digital photo.

I haven't even seen film-based camera in a really long time. The closest I have to that is a mini-VHS video camera that can apply digital effects to its recordings, but I don't seem to have the charger anymore so it's just sitting in my closet, pretty much out of the picture.

film is getting harder and harder to even get developed. My uncle managed to find a disposable camera, took a few pictures, and couldn't find anywhere in town that would develop the film. He finally found some place about 30 minutes away, but that's just crazy considering a few years ago you could get film developed just about anywhere.

I think Walmart/Target still does that stuff.

They still will for standard film types or for printing from memory cards on digital cameras, but if you use an older or less popular type of film, you're very likely going to be out of luck.

Well, I use disposable cameras when I go somewhere far away, but I haven't used a plain film camera in quite a while.
