I mainly read comics made durring the bronze age to modern age of comic books. I also have a bunch of Underground Comix. I read manga every now and then, but not usually. If I do, I'm usually reading independent manga, since I'm tired of the "I see ghosts" and "My Boyfriend is a Monster" stories. For me, American comics are at the top of the list, specifically Frank Miller.

I dunno if you guys read any comics/manga, but it'd be interesting to know if you did and what your favorite artist/writer is.

I used to like the old Nintendo Power comics, but I don't think NP has those any more. I'll read an occasional random online comic, though not very often. And Dilbert and Pearls Before Swine in the newspaper, if that counts.
Course clear! You got a card.

I like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei a lot. I also follow Pokemon Special, because I'm a nerd. I also like old things like Ranma 1/2 and Kyukyoku Chojin R. I just read whatever I find interesting.

I like to read fan comics too. As for those, my favourite artists are Prio (Pop'n Music stuff, very edgy drawing style and weird and violent) and Kiri (Beatles, just cute and funny), mostly. There is doujin of Mr. Hirasawa too~~~

But all of them are BL.

As for webcomics, my favourite is Gunnerkrigg Court. It's very good, check it out.

Western comics... Occasionally, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac catches my attention. I don't like many Western comics because most are superhero things and the rest just aren't interesting to me. However, there are a few newspaper comics I like (Calvin and Hobbes, etc.).

Nothing! I mean, occasionally I look at silver age comics on the Internet because I find them entertaining enough. I don't have money to waste on such thin things, and modern comics just don't interest me much, so it happens that I don't read many Western comics. As for superheroes, for some reason the genre doesn't grab my interest. I'll read about what happened, but I can't read the actual stuff due to cost, boredom, and unavailability. I don't know.
