New demo. To activate the pipe button, jump on top of the button. I should probably make it so the hammer does it too.

I'm like what you have so far, and the Goombas' attack patterns feel quite good. Jumping on the barrels still needs work, though. And you should be able to get closer to the front edge of the platform, too (although that might just be a matter of moving a solid).

Oh yes, and I'm loving that credits screen...

Thanks! Yeah, I'll just move the solid for the bottom part of the platform. As for the barrels, I don't think they're really an object I plan on even keeping. I just wanted an object that you could jump over in the air that acted like a wall on the ground. I'll try for walls you can walk on later.

...That's a pretty good idea. I think I should give Luigi a much higher jump if they become springs though.

Looks great so far. Those goombas are pretty tough after you press space bar. Hope you continue the game.

Tiling is a pain. Credit to Rogultgot, Bacon, Guss and Peardian for their rips. (All rippers and spriters are credited in the game.)

In case you can't tell, I'm copying the design of Luigi's house in Paper Mario 64. See the trap door in his room? ;D

I just realized why I thought something looks off with the house and pips, there isn't a shadow. If Luigi has one, I'd recommend giving the house one too.
