Reason I avoided the "Z and X" I know and love is because I heard some weird thing about some European keyboards having Z on the other side.

Mason Reason I avoided the "Z and X" I know and love is because I heard some weird thing about some European keyboards having Z on the other side.I'm Dutch, and I have the same QWERTY keyboard as you guys. Z & X are right next to shift at the left side of the keyboard.

This is really neat, I like the engine. Keep going with this, surely after making this all work you wouldn't want to see it go to waste.

I'd like to see you keep working on this, as long as you can stay motivated! One complaint: I don't remember how it is in the real Mario RPG games, but Luigi's sprites keep moving as long as you hold an arrow key - this looks awkward if you're against a wall or holding opposing keys on the keyboard or otherwise not actually moving.

And if you don't want to keep working on this, I might be able to use portions of the engine myself, since I'm making an RPG, and not having to program a "Z-axis" would be nice.
Course clear! You got a card.
