Last week I tried Starry, Pepsi's latest attempt at a lemon-lime carbonated beverage. It tastes a lot like its predecessor, Sierra Mist, but a bit sharper and crisper. At least, that's against my recollection of Sierra Mist - Sierra Mist never was terribly popular and was often hard to find, so I haven't had it in a number of years.
Sierra Mist went through a bunch of rebrands over the years, which probably didn't help their cause. I honestly don't think the world needs another Sprite competitor, but Starry was all right.

I preferred Sierra Mist to Sprite for a while, but then I stopped drinking both of those for a while. I think it came out before I started going to MFGG, but it reminds me of early MFGG for some reason. I see it at the store, but I've yet to try it.
I drink soda pretty regularly, although I make myself drink water too. There's a convenience store chain I go to in my area that offers a subscription that lets you buy one fountain drink a day, but I don't think they have Starry at every location yet. I saw a coupon for a small amount of money off a 20 ounce bottle of soda at my local store, so I guess I could use it to try Starry.

Friendly Dictator So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children? wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children Bibby OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words. |

Is a topic bump OK?
If it is, then I've had Starry. It doesn't taste identical to Sierra Mist, but it's similar. Kind of like how Sprite is similar to Starry, and how a PlayStation is similar to an Xbox.

Sure, no worries! I haven't seen a lot of people drinking Starry since the first few months after it came out. I haven't had it in a while now.
Though it's also true that if I get a fizzy sugary beverage at a restaurant that serves Pepsi products, I'm more likely to get a Pepsi rather than a New Sierra Mist Starry.

don't try the sodastream version... it tastes awful... actually a lot of sodastream branded sodas do... thankfully the bottled soda is a different story entirely..
