If you use the Google Chrome browser, press Up on the arrow keys the next time the "This web page is not available" error message appears. You'll like what happens. I had fun.

Is this version specific? Running on "43.0.2357.81 m", which Chrome itself says is up to date and I get nada when up arrowing on one of those pages.

I think I keep getting all the wrong kinds of error pages.

That's strange... that's the same version of Chrome I have.
