Heya guys! It's been quite some time, I know. I'm sorry for not being as active as I used to be, but make sure you all are not forgotten!
The last couple of months have been as awesome as they have been scary. I turned 18 a few months ago, which brought all kinds of responsibilities (since from 18 on, you're legally an adult in Europe). I've also been tangled in schoolwork, regular work projects, and an internship that has me travelling for 6 hours(!) every day from my hometown to the big city of Amsterdam and back. They might even offer me a job at the end, which is potentially going to throw my life completely upside down.
Anyways, how have you all been? I'd love to hear all of the fun stuff I've been missing out on, the gossip, and the awesome new stuff you've all been making. I probably won't reply as fast as I used to, but since we got free WiFi on the train now, I'll be sure to check in at least once every 2 days!

Whoa, you still exist! Now that's quite a commute. In America, a 6-hour train ride would be pretty pricey!
It's nice to hear from you again. Good luck with your intern-y things. Try not to be so busy that you can't visit every blue moon! Most importantly, be sure to make time to Be Young, Have Fun, and Drink Pepsi. Lately I've been busy winning as many IT awards as possible while working on as many group projects as possible. That, and patiently procrastinating on Cheerwine Deluxe 3 and Career Fantasy.
Course clear! You got a card.

Oh wow! I don't think that I would be able to handle that level of pressure myself.
I hope things run smoothly for you. I've just been dinking with things, myself. More hacking, soundfontings, music composition, and random pieces of programming which I'm trying to figure out what to do with. I've also been studying the techniques used by Bob Ross, and have learned how to paint with oils as well as creating my own style in digital formats as well. |

Those were the days... Also, congrats on your IT awards! ![]() Nite Shadow I've just been dinking with things, myself.More hacking, soundfontings, music composition, and random pieces of programming which I'm trying to figure out what to do with. I came across your Sega screen mod yesterday, stuff like that looks really fun to make! Also, did I see the long awaited release of that Nightmare-Luigi game you worked on? Or have my eyes deceived me?

Ah, I'm afraid not.
I lost track of my goals and bit off more than I could chew. ended up scrapping it ![]() And yeah, those mods are actually pretty fun to do. The Sega genesis screen was actually based on a random hunch that I had and confirmed that the gray wire going from the motherboard, to the screen was a basic AV signal. I simply jumped it to the AV out on the cartridge. I've also got an NES controller that I dismantled entirely, and jumped all the buttons to arcade switches. Topic #1458 I also modded a PS3 controller based around how my uncle likes to abuse the things. Topic #1419 It is actually still functioning, which at this point is roughly 3 months longer than the normal life span for a controller under my uncle's care. |
