a couple of days ago, joe montana posted something on his twitter account about a new installment in that football game series he starred in back in the days of the sega. EA has the exclusive rights to the NFL's roster, but that doesn't extend to retired NFL players, it seems. it looks like this is going to run on the unreal engine 4, which means that if this really does become a thing, it's probably going to be a playstation 4 and xbox one game.
anybody got any thoughts on this? i don't play madden, but personally, i think it's exciting that someone who isn't EA is making a football game. i love old sega sports games, and even if this isn't being worked on by sega, it's still really cool whenever somebody does a throwback to an old series like this.
... really? That's what you call Guile?

Friendly Dictator So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children? wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children Bibby OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words. |

It's interesting - and surprising - to see a sequel 20 years after Joe Montana retired from the NFL. I haven't played any of the newer Madden games, but as my understanding goes, they've grown rather stale, so it's good to see EA getting some competition. The lack of actual NFL players is an obvious downside, although if you really wanted those, I'm sure some creative player will put out a game mod that changes the default rosters.
Course clear! You got a card.
