This is a site I stumbled across this week while purging some old books. I visited after Googling the names of three "famous" titles on my shelf, all of which were featured on the Awful Library Books blog. Some of these articles are pretty funny.

• A four-year stint in solitary confinement in a Chinese re-education camp magically cures a girl's unpleasant personality. From the same author as a number of fabulously depressing or creepy titles.
  
• Here are some fun activities to keep you busy while you're in the nuclear fallout shelter. (Yes, there is cartoon nudity, so be forewarned.)
  
• I love the illustrations in this book about how to stay alive in a hostage situation.
  
• Even the cover is great on this book about amping up your MySpace page.
  

You'll find lots of other gems on this blog. These are just some of the books that I found especially amusing.

the very first thing i found on this site was a book with recipes for stuff like chicken cacciatore with prunes

given that chicken cacciatore is a family special for me, i feel a little reluctant to read said book
