hylian suggested this in both the bibby rpg topic and cat's skype group, but i'm really interested in seeing if it would be possible to make mfgg t-shirts. problem is, i've got no idea how people usually go about making t-shirts, particularly for relatively small internet forums.

does anyone know how it would be possible to do something like this? i really, really want one of these shirts

So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children?

wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children

OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words.

That would be awesome indeed.

Basically, what you do is come up with a design for your T-shirt, and then take the design to any store that specializes in making custom T-shirts and uniforms. You could probably find a place in your area if you looked in the phone book. Keep in mind that the more complicated the design, the more expensive each shirt will be. A small logo will probably be less expensive than a complicated pattern that uses a lot of different colors.

Some inkjet printers can print directly to a cotton shirt, but unless you have a special printer, the quality probably won't be as good as one that was printed on professional-grade equipment.

I haven't used this service before, but Custom Ink is also worth considering.

There are plenty of online services.

What I think a nice design would be is the Mario Teaches Typing sprite from the banner, next to the text. Basically, the banner without the bg tiles.

i think we tried something like that a couple of years ago. in 2009 or so, i was moving equipment for a band that some good friends of mine had started. our bassist worked for a printing company, and he made a t-shirt that had the band's logo on it. problem was, it didn't come out well, and looked like trash. i think it might have been the printer, but this was a long time ago

presuming that all i would be using is a one-color version of the MFGG logo, that custom ink place would charge about $21 for a shirt. that might be worth it, given that most of the logo shirts that i own were in that price range. if we were to actually make our own mfgg shirt design, i'd vouch for making a design that has the MFGG logo on it in white on a plain color. you could put something like "est. 2001" on there underneath the logo

FB3K: $21 isn't a terrible price, but you might be able to get a better deal if you went with a local company.

FD: I would so totally wear a Waligie or walrus shirt.

Red Bubble might be a good way to go. Never gotten any of their shirts, but their stickers are nice.
