Hmm, one does not simply get to dictate [I]how[I] people should respond in his thread. Also, anything you post online is subject to criticism and you do not get to silence people who aren't speaking in a professional manner. At the same time, free speech does not automatically give you the right to have an opinion. Not to mention that you should not waste your time replying to bad criticism.

This is kind of an outside dispute, but on the other hand, I don't think we have any other members who are active there, so I doubt it's going to cause any problems.

The concept - a Mario game in DKC2 style - is excellent. I'd love to see someone do that. Unfortunately, the actual levels are kind of ugly, and SMB 5 is about the worst name possible. I didn't feel like reading beyond the first page, though.

Because he has testing screenshots instead of posting real actual progress. He openly wants people to contribute ideas and other things to his project. Though people aren't because he's being intolerant to forms of criticism which he believes that it's not criticism.

And again, I didn't start this topic to rank on or smear at anyone, nor carrying personal baggage from one forum to the next. The point of this topic is to objectively see what wrongs the users in other forums are doing so that you may not repeat the same mistakes other people make.

Yeah, I understand. People who stubbornly resist constructive criticism aren't a pretty picture.

This is true.
Painful to watch really.

Fact be it, we could go on for days about what everyone is doing wrong in that thread, but would it get us anywhere?
