Earlier today, the StopForumSpam API, which is intended to help keep spambots from posting, malfunctioned. Anyone who tried to post - including administrators - would be locked out of posting and would be placed in the Validating member group, which prevents you from doing much of anything.
Sean quickly fixed this problem this afternoon by disabling the SFS API. Everything should be back in good working order now, but if anything else funky happens, please let me know.
