This topic is primarily going to discuss about major corporations running social media services.

Its not okay for Google to constantly redesign YouTube layouts knowing that it'll have a negative impact on their customer base and dismiss those concerns. The same can be similarily said to many other corporations doing exactly as to what the person who wrote that article is complaining about.
If you want to see a movie of Richard Figures (And I sure as hell want to see it.) Back This Project Up! -> https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/Richardfigures/Richard-figures-the-movie

Individuals and privately-owned businesses are under no obligation to listen to the advice of others, but ignoring advice comes at your own peril. If you don't give your customers what they want, there'll always be someone else who's happy to give them what they want. Just look at MySpace five years ago. I think the same is beginning to happen to Facebook (young people now prefer Tumblr and other sites).
Course clear! You got a card.

It's often bad to ignore feedback, as it can often result in some severe consequences.

And even I can agree that it can be quite infuriating to see that feedback is being cast to the wayside.

The fact of the matter is, nobody is required to listen to said feedback.
You can drive it down somebody's throat all you like.

They will only listen, if they choose to listen.
