bibby said i ought to try doing something like this in his own version of this topic, but i wasn't sure whether it'd be better to do it as its own topic or not, so here.

sometimes i like to imagine the street fighter 2 theme playing right when i wake up. it's this perky and optimistic theme that's a great start to a day filled with typical fireball stupidity. i mean the good kind, i hope.

sometimes when i'm tearing around in my car at... well, around the speed limit, i feel like rihanna's shut up and drive, with its sick-ass bass and drive guitar that reminds me of my days with long hair in high school, is good background music. rihanna looks d*** good in this video, too.

oh no! a customer asked me for something, most likely in another department, and i've got no idea where it's located! cue the metal gear solid alert music while i tell them they ought to go up front and ask them there.

joy! i clocked out of work after an indeterminate number of hours running produce! cue the triumphant stage clear track from melee! well, one of them, at least.

since i'm fireball3k and this involves music, you better believe there's going to be some country tracks in here. i don't have a girl or a truck, and i rarely work long enough to get off at 5PM, but i still feel like i'm getting my country on when i roll back home after work

and then there are some times that my customers or managers p*** me off so badly that i just want to come home and just chill, which is a perfect place to play songs like this one. ronnie dunn is one of the best singers in country music, in my opinion

i spend a lot of time on social networking services and forums, like this one! sometimes being behind a keyboard lets me act like i'm not a geek. i'm probably not as pathetic as the guy who brad paisley is singing about in this video, but i definitely do think i can be a hell of a lot cooler than i am online

i live pretty close to louisville, kentucky. i live, like, right next to the indiana-kentucky line, so i can basically go to louisville whenever the hell i feel like it. it's big... sort of like the city of dahngrest in tales of vesperia on the xbox 360. it might not be the guild capital of the nation, but louisville's bardstown road is basically the biggest hipster hot spot around, so i guess the music that plays in dahngrest fits

my family has a place down on the river in corydon, indiana. it's way the hell out in the middle of nowhere, which is why we have it. it's a good place to fish, and while i've never had a girlfriend for long enough for her to want to ditch me because of any fishing habit i might or might not have, i still think this brad paisley track fits the whole experience of sitting out on the little rock jutting out into the river and tossing my line.

i went to kings island, a theme park in mason, ohio last summer. (i can't not think of puddin's old username whenever i'm anywhere near there, by the way.) anyways, it's about a three hour drive from new albany to there, so i get bored if i don't listen to music. i remember last summer that i really got into the oeuvre of 3D realms, like duke nukem 3d, shadow warrior, and rise of the triad. one of the composers for those games, lee jackson, did a .mod back in 1994 which sounds like a rejected song from rise of the triad. on my way there, i pretty much listened to this track the whole way there and back. my trip neither involved storms nor texas roads, but it did involve a lot of night driving after i left the park, so...

oh no! i have to take a test in one of my classes, and i'm not sure whether or not i've studied well enough for it! i've graduated at this point, but whenever this happened, i heard either one of the boss battle themes from shin megami tensei iv or the mortal kombat techno syndrome track in my head, both of which are high-intensity tracks that fit the feeling of intellectual kombat i feel like i'm taking a test

oh no! my term paper is due a week from now, and i've got to write ten more pages! what else am i going to do but pretend i'm duke nukem, have some steroids... i mean, highly-caffeinated drink and write the rest of it in a flurry? this happened to me for both my sophomore and senior seminars, and both times, i listened to mark "tdk" knight's remixes of the duke nukem 3d theme grabbag for the psx version of the game.

joy! my term paper and tests are complete, and the summer is here! i no longer have to do anything important besides work, so i feel like the end-of-level theme from duke nukem 3d fits the triumphant mood well. it helps if i imagine a listing of all my grades in the same style as the game does, like how it shows the kills, secrets, and time taken for the level

alternatively, play the fire emblem team victory music from melee, since i'd be a representative of the fire emblem series if i was in super smash bros. ... well, that or the mother series, i think

or, since we totally needed another entry for this, how about the victory theme from tales of symphonia on the gamecube?

i really want to see other people's takes on this topic, since bibby had a great idea with his original topic

Friendly Dictator

So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children?

wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children

OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words.
