I might as well make a topic for this, since the finish line is - at last! - near. This is an RPG made in Game Maker (a rarity) based on an adventure topic in MFGG's old Lounge (yes, someone actually finished a game of that type). It was originally a Minigame Competition entry for a "Boss Rush" theme, and I've recently been fixing the multitude of glitches and adding new features like buffs and status effects. I'll be the first to admit the story feels a tad bit cheesy now, and the graphics are as bad as most RPG Maker games I've seen, but I might as well post it anyway.

The engine is poorly coded - it even has some of Yal's Drag & Drop left - but if you'd like an open source, just PM me. In the somewhat unlikely event I make a feature-length RPG someday, I'll redo the programming entirely to rely almost entirely on scripts.

Wow. I finally finished it, believe it or not. I'll leave it up to you to find any pesky little glitches, which I'll fix if they have an impact on the gameplay. The graphics are still kind of ugly, but I think you'll just have to live with them because I'd rather just move on to newer projects.

Maybe if I'd been getting better INT boosts than that, I would've scrapped this whole thing and started over, making my own engine and graphics and doing it right...
