So, just for the sake of knowing how, I tried to make a 3D platformer engine, and so far I've got this much done.
I figure if I'll have a log for the MGC, it'll be right here, in executables. Even if I don't finish in time, I'll keep you guys posted whether you like it or not.
If anyone wants the source at any time, I'll gladly provide it - I won't guarantee that it'll be understandable, though.

How thingy! It's a nice start, and I always like to see something a little "different" on MFGG. Though it feels an awful lot like a Nintendo 64 auto racing game (which may or may not be a bad thing).

...A Nintendo 64 auto racing game. Huh.
I was totally not ready for or expecting that. The result was confused laughter. I did use textures from a certain Nintendo 64 game though, so... close enough! |

I didn't mean the graphics as much as the way the game "feels" somehow. Minus the blow dryer-like engine noises and bikini-clad trophy girls, of course.

...Well, so much for that.
It runs too slow the way I want to make it work... and I'm a bit too lazy to modify it in a way that will make it be not slow. Well, tonight anyway - that may change later... |

I have a little bit of trouble knowing how fast the player should be able to move, since I don't know how fast the enemies are going to be.
