Went to Port Costa... ever been.
First weekend out in 14 months. Wanted to see how the little one would do... she did fine...Port Costa is literally a mile of middle of nowhere houses and 50 yards of town.
Nice quiet getaway a literal stones throw from the bay.
Stayed in the only hotel which used to be a brothel... few of the bay from the room... not a great view but the view at night was very nice.... though there were trains all night....but that is what drink is for.

That sounds like a cool getaway for bay area family. Really nice. I was there years back and if I'm remembering right past Vallejo past Crockett I think. There was a large eccentric woman who was so bay area eccentric and well known to thems that traveled that way. A cluttered hotel but this was many years ago. Still sounds funky as you've described. I wonder if anyone here knows the place too.

Dustin: That's true, but any post that contains the phrase "used to be a brothel" has the potential to be an interesting conversation.
Course clear! You got a card.
