While Griffin was already too good to really have a “breakout season,” his game has taken a big step this year.
Rivers and the Clippers have used Griffin more in transition, taking advantage of his unique combination of size, skill and speed to lead fast breaks. Rivers also has Griffin facing the basket more in the half court.
“Clearly, he’s running the floor better,” Rivers said. “I think he’s handling the ball more, so he’s improved.
“But I think it’s just his overall confidence in his game, you know, his shot, his ability to face the basket instead of always trying to play physical with the bigs. …I think that’s where he’s improved the most.”

I just want to see some post season success. Each time he's been punked by a more physical front line. Push him around a little and he gets shut down and becomes a cry baby.

Push him around a little and he gets shut down and becomes a cry baby.Griffin get fouled more than anyone in the league. That's a fact and we're talking hard fouls, not ticky tacky Dwayne Wade variety. Just cause Griffin has the brains to not retaliate and turn plays into offsetting technicals doesn't make him weak. I suppose coming up with all this bs about being a "cry baby" keeps the discussion off the fact he's one hell of a player. |

Look Monk, Webber is my main man. I could score like crazy with baseline jumpers from him when I played a season as the Kings on NBA2k3. I appreciate the man as well for who he is. A straight up dude, smart, and affable.
