Miles mentioned a few imperfections with the perspective in the bridge scene, but I like the general vibe of it.
As for the most recent one, it's neat how you really make the statue the focal point. Everything else is slightly out of focus, which makes the statue stand out even more.

Ha ha.
Yeah, I kinda messed up with setting the bridge perspective, and honestly didn't catch it until he pointed it out. Oh well, I just need to be more careful next time. As for your comment on the recent one. That's actually something I learned recently, from Art Academy on the 3ds. Not exactly something this dark, granted, but it explains how selectively leaving items out of focus, can bring emphasis on the target subject, and lead the viewer's eye to it. In this case the statue. Having something to bring additional interest into that location helps with this as well, which is why I added lightening striking the statue. (Though personally, I think I went a bit to far with that part.) |

![]() I received a commission recently to paint one of my waterfalls. However, currently lacking canvases, I have about two weeks to practice by what means I can. |

Nice going! What kind of medium was it - a print, mug, or something else?

This was actually an oil painting on a canvas board.
Framed, and placed behind glass. (Which is why there are some reflections in the image) It had been awhile since I last did one like this. but I still feel proud of the end results. |

Pretty sweet. I love the texture on that snowcapped mountain.
