A small sample of the cups I've sublimated.
There are more of these, but I'm afraid I only had so much room on top of this wood stove.

The pictures are actually permanently placed into the outer coating of the cup. Experiments/complete and total abuse of the designated "Test Cup" have shown that these are dishwasher, and Microwave safe, and so far has not begun to fade in direct sunlight exposure after about 7 days.
Only the obvious damaging aspects are really to note: they can be nicked, and chipped, as with any other coffee cup..

I will be taking these to a large event soon, and see if I can move these for $12.00 per cup, or $15.00 for a custom printout.

I bet you'll sell a lot of them - these look really neat. I like how you're combining your skills as an artist, craftsman, and electronics ninja with this latest project.

That's the interesting thing about it, actually.
When I got to researching the entire process, I found that my main talents were all to be put to use. Even things like hacking.
Stuff I would do to old computers and Video game consoles, was actually put to good use.

So, It's been awhile since I last posted any art in this thread.
I've spent the time looking for ways to expand my horizons, and perhaps improve my abilities.
I have 3, which I made recently.

So, some of you may, or may not recognize the source material.
I did this in the game Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone for 3ds, Following the basic tutorials.

Looks like a brave little flower trying its best to bloom on top of a rugged mesa. Pretty cool.

:) Brave little flower indeed.

So, I have to post a bit of a warning on this next one.
I decided to try something a little different.
The subject matter may be offensive to some, and was made to be scary.
It involves people in the background around a fire doing something, with a scared person tied to a wooden post in the foreground.
With this, I have hidden the image in a spoiler.

Hah! Such an obscure connection you made there... and it actually works too!

Well played.
