So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children?

wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children

OK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words.

A WIP of a painting that I have received several requests for IRL.
This is the Okanogan complex fire as it was coming over Tunk mountain, As viewed from my house.
The smoke effect is an on the fly experiment, where I am combining small amounts of specific colors with a large blob of a high glossing agent.

This is off to a great start! I know it's not complete yet, but the empty space is actually kind of interesting - it looks unsettling and apocalyptic.
Course clear! You got a card.

Thanks!
Also, That last statement is more accurate than you may know.
Especially seeing it come over the mountain on the first night.
...One simply doesn't forget a scene like that...

nite, have you ever seen the daimonji? it's part of a japanese festival i forget the name of. basically, they set a series of bonfires on the hills surrounding kyoto, each of them in the shape of a particular kanji. if you've seen the move fire blast in pokemon, then the animation for that is based off of one of the kanji of the festival.

i know you weren't going for something festive, but the way the hills are drawn in this evoked that for me.

Art is what is within the eyes of the viewer.
I may paint one thing, but people may see another.
If more artists understood this, then the art world would be so much better.

To be honest, the Pokemon attack Fire Blast did come to mind while I was trying to do the flames.
One of my test pages actually attempted to recreate the flame graphic in oil paints, with less than desirable results.
After switching out Scarlet red for Alizarin Crimson, the results came out much better.
The flame pattern from that test still exists in this work, but is mixed in with variable other forms.

Finally shelled out some money for a few things off of Nintendo's store.
One of which being Colors 3d.

(Honestly, it looked better on the 3DS screen)

Well, you can also get it on android, and IOS.
Also, viewing stuff doesn't require anything special besides an internet browser.
