![]() I thought that too when I was trying to create the sky. (Before actually drawing anything in front) By rubbing off charcoal onto a tissue, and using a combination swirl+X pattern, I got that effect within the fade in the process of trying to create the sky. Blotting select parts up with a kneaded eraser highlighted the clouds to make them more distinguishable and created the stormy effect in the background. This technique was also handy for lightening up certain points where the light was supposed to be hitting, as well as making the mountains into what they are. |
