Nothing that I can outright name right off the top of my head, but I think I know what you mean.

This is neat. It doesn't quite look like the reference, but it's quite interesting in its own way. Also, you can't go wrong with random ways to fill the world with Honey Buns.

Ha ha ha. Thanks. I wasn't actually going for perfect accuracy to be honest with you, just trying things. |

pictured here is nite's childhood home back when he was growing up as a lumberjack shortly before the second world war. ok, i'm obviously joking, but those trees look super nice. one of them in the background looks like it's about to tip over, though.
Find my music here!! Friendly Dictator So what can be superior when compared with paying out half the price for brand name children? wow, if brand name children are on sale, maybe i can stop buying all these cheap knockoff children BibbyOK... even I'll admit that the Oakland Raiders' performance might be a valid reason to use the interesting words. |

I'm really digging those trees, too. (Also, nice 9,000th post.)

I knew post 9000 was going to be in one of my threads. Then there is this post, which is over 9000. Also, thanks! |

Note: The following is from a botched session, trying a medium that I had never tried before. (Wet-on-wet oil painting technique) Here are the results. I screwed this up right at the back-coat of linseed oil, which I over-saturated my canvas to a level I am legitimately concerned about it bursting into flames. I took the best of the opportunity to test other aspects of the technique I was trying. Testing common advice mainly, and there is something to be noted. Albeit I failed at making the trees, I was able to do what appears to be 2 corn stalks, and a palm-tree. This was taking the advice of making use of accidentals. bubbles which formed in the undercoat have been popping, and appear to have created snowflakes. --- Edited by: The_Shadow, Mar 5th, 2015 @ 9:48 pm |

The trees and corn are off to a nice start, although the background looks funny. But then again, now it looks like you're in the middle of a hurricane, which is interesting in its own way.
