Today we hit the low to mid 80s here in the south bay.
I wonder if that means the summer is going to be a scorcher.
I would hate for the mildness I have grown used to, to become a thing of the past with climate change hitting the outliers of the thermostat.
I love the weather here.... but today.... in mid March, I was roasting in slacks and a button down while teaching... I finally turned on the AC. I don't like doing that to the planet (because I know Al Gore and the polar bears are watching) but at some point ....with 30-some mouth breathers panting in my class I say, "f*** it, f*** the ice caps, and f*** the water levels... I'm just uncomfortable."
(Wow, Ca has turned me into a weather b****... in NY the temp would be 110 the humidity would be 217% and I would be playing basketball.)

I wouldn't mind some warm days, actually. January was four Fahrenheit degrees below average here, and March has been three degrees F. cooler than normal.
