So many NBA journalist talked about how this would be a huge deadline... I bought it.

There were a number of trades... so, I suppose there is truth in that. However, the level of the trades was underwhelming when compared to what I imagined (big names and top picks) happening.

Well, the good thing is the Knicks didn't make a move in haste...they tend to get reamed when they try to make trades.

Agree, wow didn't see that.

Turner isn't the type of player that team needs. He is selfish and a "me" guy, maybe they can rub off on him though.

Granger,...well, the 76ers took a flier that he would get back to shape..if he does they raped the Pacers...if not... Evan is still probably less of a loss than people think...though, dude's a baller.

I think of Turner as a subtle Stephen Jackson... baller/douche.

Sort of surprised the Pacers did that. Granger was their only interesting piece for a while and then he got hurt... and now they shuffle him off to Buffalo.

It's a business... but with the Pacers you sort of get that wholesome family feeling.

Ha yeah, I like that comp. Kind of a swiss army knife player. Haven't seen Turner play too much, but I don't think he's nearly the defender that S-Jax was (remember when he shut down Dirk in '07?!)

Didn't know he was a douche either... didn't think he had done enough in the league to earn being a douche.
