is anyone here besides me excited for this game? it's a mech shooter game, built on the source engine, with veterans of infinity ward who worked on the first few call of duty modern warfare games developing it.

the biggest thing i've heard that sounds cool is that, though it's a multiplayer game, each team has some bots on it in addition to normal human players. they said this was so people could get killstreaks easier, which i appreciate cos i suck at shooting games like this

Finally, someone (ironically, the creators of COD) has come in and said, "hey, let's finally do something NEW with shooters!"

I hope Infinity Ward takes notice that COD has been running the same tired gameplay for 10+ years and it's time to expand.

Everything about Titanfall feels fresh, it's gonna be a genre bender.

i hear you on that. i've been playing and enjoying call of duty since modern warfare 3, but it's good to see the old crew doing something new with shooters.

i've got a good gaming pc already that could probably run this, but i'm getting it on xbox one soon as it comes out

I thought it looked cool because jetpacks. Waiting for the PC version myself.

Bots? Bots! Bots are good. If I weren't giving up online multiplayer games forever soon I'd be so all over this. Everything I've seen about it looks really cool. I love the idea itself.

My friend just today preordered this for Xbox 360. I hope this game runs relatively well on that thing. Hopefully it won't be as bad to have on a last-gen system as Battlefield 4 is.

fanta, i didn't even know there was a pc version until after i'd preordered the xbone version, haha. i play call of duty: ghosts on pc, but something about the xbox one version just called out "buy me instead"

miles, given we're in the state of flux between generations right now, i bet you the 360 version's gonna be gimped compared to pc and xbone. i hope it isn't for your sake, but i think it's a definite possibility. if that's the case, ten bucks says they're going to claim that this is something that just can't be done on 360 well, even if that's a bald-faced lie

bump. has anyone played the beta yet? i think it was made open to everyone today, whether they're on pc or xbone. runs til tuesday, if i remember right.

There's always been a lot we don't know about Titanfalls, even basic things like how many maps or modes there are, and not much of the story has been revealed.


Well the game could have a LOT more than we were expecting, whoa!
