This is my theory, and it has to do with hockey benefitting more than any other sport from being watched live over tv:
- Hockey - good live, bad tv
- Baseball - bad live, bad tv
- Basketball - good live, good tv
- Football - bad live, good tv

Monk I enjoy live baseball.I agree. Also, while baseball never gets any love at the high school and college levels, watching amateur baseball is awesome because you can stand just a few feet behind the catcher and get an amazing view of every pitch, every swing, every play at home, and every argument.
Course clear! You got a card.
